Vietnamese Belgian Credit Project - Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU), is seeking for 01 Accountant cum Administrator and 01 Chief Operating Officer, full-time position, initial 12 month contract (but likely extendable) with salary competitive
01 ACCOUNTANT / ADMINISTRATOR
Duties:
-setting up a chart of accounts and accounting system, keep accounts and
-prepare financial reports, assist the Chief Operating Officer in general management of the financing unit, and assist with documentation and record keeping.
Requirements:
-University Degree in accounting or business administration from a recognized institution (if business administration, at least an alternative qualification in accounting);
-At least three years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and or administration (business/financial sector experience is a plus);
-Proactive attitude and ability to work independently;
-Excellent organizational, planning and coordination skills;
-Good command of English is essential
-Full proficiency in at least one or more accounting software packages and MS Excel is a must.
01 CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Duties:
-collaborate with the international consultants to set up the operations of the financing unit
-develop client and business relationships,
-analyze and report on performance,
-develop a business plan for 2011 an beyond, and work with accountant/administrator to set up the accounting and financial management structure of the unit.
Requirements:
-Masters or other advanced degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration;
-At least six years of progressively responsible experience in wholesale banking, finance, microfinance or closely-related fields;
-Strong leadership skills; ability to manage complex development programs and oversee project finance, fund management and procurement systems;
-Experience in developing and implementing strategic/operational plans with financial projections for financial institutions or businesses;
-Ability to work proactively and independently;
-Strong accounting and financial analysis skills;
-Strong business management and negotiation skills
-Good command of English (written and oral)
-Full proficiency in MS Excel is a must
